Our Church Property

The Church is a traditionally stone built unit with a brick annex creating the medium-sized ground floor hall. There is no useable outdoor area on site.

The Church is entered via a set of steps or a ramp to the front, or a level threshold wide door at the side.  There is a front foyer to welcome people to the main Church but it is limited in space.

The Church sanctuary has been modernised, pleasantly decorated, comfortably furnished and seats 120 people. Services are generally led from a prominent platform which also houses the baptistry.  Drama and other creative activities are also presented from the platform.

The Church is also accessed from a lift situated in the rear to allow easy wheelchair access.

The Church sanctuary has an electric piano in the sanctuary which is usually used for worship.  Space is also created in this area for a music group.

The Church sanctuary is also equipped with an audio, visual and stage lighting systems which allows full sound visual and lighting control to aid worship and delivery.

Behind the sanctuary are two small vestries and a small toilet, all set within a corridor / staircase system leading to the ground floor. This corridor system links all the rooms at the ground floor level including both recently renovated ladies’, gents’ and disabled toilet facilities.

There are three main rooms and a kitchen area at ground floor level. The two main meeting rooms, one large (100) and the other medium (40) sized, are pleasantly decorated and well-furnished for their use.  There is also a smaller meeting room (8/10) which is also used as a creche on Sunday mornings.

Catering is provided from the updated and modern kitchen area which is directly connected via a large hatch into the large hall.

If you would like to hire a room(s) please email: hire@bulwellurc.org.uk for availability.
